Popcorn Fridays to Return in October

Students will be excited to hear that Popcorn Fridays are returning to Discovery in October. Bags of popcorn will be delivered to classrooms on the first Friday of each month, starting Oct. 3, as well as one bonus day, May 22.

To purchase popcorn, students can bring in 50 cents each Popcorn Friday, or parents can save some time and money by prepaying for popcorn at Back to School Night on Tuesday, Sept. 16. To prepay for the entire year is $4, which saves you 50 cents and your children’s wrath when you forget to send two quarters in on a Popcorn Friday during the school year.

The Popcorn Friday schedule is:

• Nov. 7
• Dec. 5
• Jan. 9
• Feb. 6
• March 6
• April 3
• May 1
• May 22
