PTA Coming Events

Just a reminder that Monday is Discovery PTA's fundraiser at Blaze Pizza from 6 to 8 p.m. January's been a long month, so save yourself a night of cooking and enjoy some hot pizza while supporting Discovery. Blaze will give back 20% of the proceeds from Discovery diners. Just be sure to show the flyer below when you are checking out.

Here are some other upcoming events:

• Popcorn Friday will be Friday, Feb. 2. If you didn't prepay for your student for the school year, send in 50 cents for an afternoon snack. If you would like to help bag popcorn, the PTA starts in the cafeteria around 8:30 a.m. that day.
• The February PTA meeting will be at 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6. We will be discussing playground improvements as well as any staff grant applications that come in.
• Feb. 16 is the deadline to turn in Box Tops for the individual contest that is underway. The student who brings in the most Box Tops will win a $15 gift card to Toys R Us, and the runner-up will win a $5 gift card.
