For the 2015-16 school year, we had more than 70 arts entries that were displayed at our annual Reflections Gallery in November, with six students going on to the PTA Regional Reflections Gallery for visual arts, photography, dance, and literature and being featured in the Meridian City Hall Art Gallery.
The theme for the 2016-17 school year has been announced: What Is Your Story? We encourage your students to get in touch with their creative sides over the summer to reflect this theme in one or more of six different categories: dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts.
The PTA will be coming around to classrooms in the fall to talk more about the competition and theme. The deadline for entries will be in early November.
